Basic Tour Itinerary

The tour, which includes a brief overview of the site and the people who were forced to work here as slaves, as well as their suffering and daily lives, lasts about an hour.

The Red Tower itself is not open to the public. It is not an observation tower. Therefore, only the ground floor of the tower is accessible. After the uranium ore processing plant ceased operations, the industrial equipment—including the staircases—was dismantled.

The National Cultural Monument “Red Tower of Death” is not connected to any utility networks (electricity, water, sewer), and we therefore apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

We ask anyone interested in visiting to contact us at least three business days in advance by phone or email at: 731 952 920 or jandl.dominik@npu.cz. A date will then be confirmed.

Unannounced/drop-in visitors will be able to take a tour depending on the availability of on-site guides.

Tour participants should meet at the entrance gate at these coordinates, next to the temporary parking lot.
